3 TIPS TO SAVINGS

Real estate is a complex subject and since we “don’t know what we don’t know”, here are tips to save you money and time when looking for the right professional representative for your next purchase or sale.

  1. Communication. When meeting your professional representative, how comfortable are you asking questions of them? Do they have the expertise to answer correctly? This is key to having a good experience during the transaction.
  2. Expertise. How many transactions has the agent completed within the past year? Did you know that the average agent in the U.S. closes 4-5 a year? That is like hitting a home run every few months when it could be several times a month. Look for a sweet spot where an agent has enough work to have their head in the game and knowledge to complete the transaction. For example, I usually close 20+ sales a year, giving me the expertise and systems in place to be efficient and provide my my clients with personal attention.
  3. Knowledge. Knowing the real estate market in the area you are looking at for a new property is key to knowing when and where to buy. There is a lot of conflicting information out there. A knowledgeable agent can digest the information and educate you so you can make an informed decision for your needs.

Looking for these 3 things can allow you to find a great agent who has your back and the knowledge and expertise to get you the right price in a timely manner.
